Colored Asphalt Used for the First Time

For the first time in Iran, colored asphalt has been used in some districts of Tehran.
SAMA reported that Transportation and Traffic Deputyship of Tehran Municipality is planning to use the asphalt for the first time in Iran.

It will mean that different messages such as bus stop as well as speed control barriers will be included on the asphalt and the first instance of such asphalt will be implemented next week.
Colored asphalt is produced by adding special polymers to the asphalt and is used to mark such signs as traffic warning, zebra crossing, and bicycle routes. It is used for beautification of parks, roads, and bridges and is available in different colors including red, yellow, white, green, and blue.
